Clinical Supervision
Angela offers clinical supervision for fellow clinicians at all stages of their professional journey—including licensed therapists, pre-licensed associates, and those specializing in perinatal mental health. Her approach is shaped by extensive experience across diverse clinical settings, including community agencies, in-home therapy, and private practice.
Angela’s supervision is designed to help clinicians deepen their understanding of their clients and enhance their clinical effectiveness. Sessions focus on thoughtful case exploration and conceptualization using appropriate theoretical frameworks that align with each client’s unique needs and presentation.
Her supervision approach draws from:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Narrative Therapy
Motivational Interviewing
Systems Theory
Attachment Theory
Angela also offers specialized supervision for clinicians working with perinatal populations, providing guidance on issues such as pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, birth trauma, grief and loss, identity shifts, and supporting the parent-child bond.
A core component of her supervision is Self-of-the-Therapist work. Angela believes a clinician’s self-awareness, identity, and presence in the therapy room are essential tools—and she creates a safe, supportive space to explore these dynamics with depth and intention.
